“James and everyone at computerHABITS are very professional and genuinely care about our office. They are always just a short phone call away and address any issues or concerns immediately. I highly recommend their services to anyone wanting their systems to run smoothly and efficiently!”
Hulda Warren
Office Manager, Prairie Dental Care
Prairie Dental Care in Vancouver, WA found themselves in a situation where their practice was in great need of updating technology in order to better serve their growing patient base. This is a true account of their experience with introducing digital technology into their practice and how computerHABITS was able to assist them in their goal.
Expansion Leads to Increased IT Complexity
“As the needs of our office were expanding, our computers and computer technology were not. Prairie Dental Care seemed to always have problems with our computers. With our previous ‘computer guy’ resolution always seemed to be timely and costly, often leaving us without the use of computers and completely frustrated and hopeless.
IT Upgrade Increases Efficiency
We finally came to a point where change was inevitable. We needed to update everything! After finding James at computerHABITS, we felt confident in trusting him to help guide us through our new adventure. One of the major changes we were doing included digital x-rays. Dr. Warren and James worked together to find the best system for our office. James then tailored computers to fit our digital needs and wants. We upgraded from 14 low grade computers to 20 high speed and efficient machines.
Importance of Change Management
Many of our employees were hesitant and some just out right scared to make such major changes. With James’ constant communication, attention to detail, and excellent networking skills, the transition has been simple! He took care of all the hardware, software and explaining the basic functions of the new systems to our staff. Then when it was time, he set us up with the appropriate software representatives (with whom he had an excellent rapport) to teach us about all the fun new applications we could apply to our everyday routine. As a result, our staff, as well as our patients, are enjoying the benefits of the new technology.”
